Onlayn Terapiya
I offer online therapy, which has been found to be effective. This option could be beneficial if you frequently travel for work, live abroad or simply prefer to have sessions in the comfort of your home.
All online therapy sessions are confidential.
Sessions are conducted using either Google Meet or doxy.me, both of which provide secure platforms for our interactions. To participate, all you need is a computer with an Internet connection, a screen, camera, microphone, and speakers – typically available on most laptops. To ensure a conducive environment for our sessions, please attend from a calm and distraction-free place where you feel secure.
However, not all clients or situations are suited for online intervention, as individuals and organizations increasingly turn to the internet to provide professional services to a global audience.
In specific cases, online therapy may be inappropriate, instead, in-person treatment or evaluation becomes essential. For instance, online therapy is not a suitable when a client presents a potential risk to themselves or others. In emergencies or situations posing a genuine threat to an individual’s well-being, online communication is regarded as an inadequate form of treatment.
Below, I outline situations where online consultations are not recommended:
1. When a client has thoughts of self-harm or suicide.
2. When a client has thoughts of harming others.
3. When a client is facing a life-threatening or emergency situation.
4. When a client has a recent history of suicidal, violent, or abusive behavior.
5. When a client holds unrealistic beliefs (delusions).
6. When a client experiences sensory perceptions that others do not (hallucinations).
7. When a client is actively abusing alcohol or drugs.
In such urgent cases, it is essential for the patient to receive face-to-face therapy.
